2020 Voting Rules
New Categories and Two-Stage Voting
This year we decided to change how the nominee lists are formed and to gather opinions not through Instagram stories, but through voting across all categories at once. This makes the process more open and helps avoid the mistakes made last year.
A New List of Categories
We added narrowly specialized categories that require a fairly high level of knowledge and immersion in the culture. The list of nominees in them partly depends on the opinion of invited experts.
Experts are last year’s winners and respected people in the community — event organizers, DJs and party-goers with many years of experience.
Public Categories
“Simple Categories”
The list of nominees depends 100% on the answers of the public survey participants.
Expert Categories
“Complex Categories”
The list of nominees depends 50% on the public survey participants’ answers and 50% on the experts’ opinion.
